Harvey Stanbrough – Author and Freelance Editor
I first met Harvey when I attended one of his writing workshops. His teaching was straight to the point and the handout was almost as good as attending the class itself. You know how so many handouts are just bullet points or printouts from a PowerPoint presentation? Not these handouts. They were basically transcripts of his class and very detailed. This gave me a good idea of what kind of person he was.
Harvey became my editing mentor and got me going on this path. His advice has been invaluable and his support is cherished.

Our author friendly model continues to evolve along with the book industry as we partner with industry professionals to first time authors, and groups wanting an economical way to harness the power of publishing.
Open Books Press is our in-house imprint, and Transformation Media Books and Teen Town Press titles are determined by our publishing partners. Each uses a variation of the traditional query-proposal process and contract. We do not charge authors to publish.

Tammy Strobel of RowdyKittens.com
The reason behind RowdyKittens: To create social change through simple living. A social movement of people who are living simple, authentic, and uncluttered lives.
Tammy is serious about creating social change through simple living. She starts by living it herself, which is where her authenticity shines through. She recently wrote a book called Simply Car-free: How to Pedal Toward Financial Freedom and a Healthier Life where she gives tons of useful advice about getting rid of your car or at the very least, using it as little as possible. Her blog and this book were a big influence on me when I decided to move to a city where I could bike year-round and go car-lite. Her latest book is called Minimalist Health and is a free manifesto with information gleaned from personal experience about using the minimalist mindset to live healthy in all areas of your life.
